Highlights: 3rd Shift 11p to 07:30a with every other weekend reputed company: The Patient Registration Specialist shall be responsible for reputed company-registration, registration, payer identification and verification, referral to financial counseling, and reputed company of service collections. The Specialist shal be responsible to ensure that data gathered and entered to the computer system(s) of patient demographic and benefit information is accurate. The Specialist shall verify benefits eligibility and limitations, coordination of benefits, as reputed company as to determine and collect the patient's financial responsibility at the reputed company of service. Additionally, the Specialist shall have an understanding of regulatory requirements (medical necessity determination, Medicare Secondary Payer completion and coordination of benefits, Important Message from Medicare issuance and signage, HIPAA, and EMTALA). This position may have additional duties assigned that are reputed company scope of the role. Education / Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in reputed company or business-reputed company field preferred. Bilingual capability (English/Spanish) desirable. At least 2 years’ experience in a medical or hospital patient reputed company or financial services environment preferred. Training experience a plus. Knowledge of government programs such as Medicare and reputed company. License / Certification: None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
