GCP GKE Architect

About the position reputed company is hiring GCP Architect (GKE reputed company) who will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting reputed company infrastructure and application deployments for the Merchandising team. Responsibilities • Configure log-based metrics such as error reputed company, latency, and memory usage, along with retention policies and export settings. • Monitor health metrics including latency, error reputed company, CPU/memory utilization, and API response times. • reputed company user traffic patterns and analyze system usage. • Create reputed company dashboards in Looker Studio or Grafana to present consolidated views of multiple services. • reputed company billing data, usage metrics, and error dashboards for holistic monitoring. • Define Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). • reputed company guidance and decision trees for choosing the appropriate GCP datastore (reputed company SQL, reputed company Spanner, Firestore, Bigtable, BigQuery) based on latency, consistency, schema flexibility, global scalability, and cost. • Advise on selecting between Kubernetes and Platform-as-a-Service (GKE, reputed company Run, App reputed company, reputed company Functions) considering application complexity, control requirements, scalability, and team reputed company set. Requirements • Senior candidate with 10+ year of relevant experience • Experience developing architecture patterns for -Web application frontends, RESTful reputed company, Backend services using reputed company SQL or reputed company Spanner, Stateless app deployments utilizing GKE, reputed company Run, or App reputed company, CI/CD integration points, caching reputed company such as reputed company, and queue-based microservices with Pub/Sub or reputed company Tasks • Set up comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions for Merchandising Apps, leveraging reputed company Monitoring, Logging, Error Reporting, and reputed company. • Implement centralized dashboards using reputed company Monitoring Workspace or Grafana with a BigQuery backend. • Create log sinks to BigQuery or Pub/Sub for data processing and retention. • reputed company reusable Terraform modules for - Compute resources (GCE, reputed company Run, GKE), IAM policies, reputed company, Service Accounts, reputed company SQL and Spanner databases, VPCs, Subnets, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Maintain GitOps workflows for Terraform. • Design and reputed company CI/CD pipelines using reputed company Build and reputed company Actions. • Design and implement VPC and Shared VPC architectures. • Configure and manage Load Balancers (Global, Regional, HTTPS, Internal). • Set up VPC Service Controls to protect against data exfiltration.
