We are now seeking an experienced Data Entry Associate to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence. **Job Summary:** As a Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in gathering, preparing, and entering alphabetic and numeric data from various source documents into our assigned computer systems. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities:** • Gather, organize, and prepare source documents for data entry into the appropriate system database, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately captured and recorded. • Review data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information, and resolve discrepancies or return incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. • Enter both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the assigned system database, ensuring that all data is accurate and complete. • Verify data entered matches the original source documents, reviewing for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications. • Follow outlined data program security practices and procedures at all times, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of our data. • Secure information by completing database backup daily, ensuring that our data is always up-to-date and secure. • Perform other various clerical duties as required, such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading. • Maintain confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times, in accordance with HIPAA regulations. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. **Essential Qualifications:** • High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of six months related experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred. • Experience in a medical office preferred, but not required. • Must possess knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone operations. • Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet. • Must have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance. • Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M. • Ability to follow instructions and respond to management's directions accurately. • Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, looking for ways to improve and promote quality and monitoring own work to ensure quality is met. • Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed. **Preferred Qualifications:** • Experience with data entry software and systems. • Knowledge of data management principles and practices. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. **Skills and Competencies:** • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. • Strong typing skills (minimum 40 W.P.M.). **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
