- Understanding of education environments including needs of adult learners

- Good Organization and Communication Skills
- An Associate's degree or higher in a reputed company area of study (ACCSC)

- Shall have completed or be currently attending a course offered by an approved program to certify competency in teaching adult learners.

- Baccalaureate degree from accredited school or

- Completion of 1 year full-time teaching experience in state accredited or approved RN, VN reputed company last 5 years, or
- Meets CA community college or state university teaching requirements
- Associates degree plus 6 years of experience or,
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience
- Completion of 24-hour reputed company of Teaching the Adult Learner Course OR Teaching/Learning college course credits
