Site Engineer – Heavy Civil / Concrete Structures - Remote Location: This position is eligible for remote work opportunities, and does not need to be based out of the Corporate office in Bethlehem, PA Support large-scale industrial construction projects for one of America's leading cement manufacturers. This role provides field engineering oversight for reinforced concrete structures, foundations, silos, and heavy civil works at operating plants. Ideal for engineers experienced in industrial construction, large concrete structures, and contractor coordination. What You’ll Do • Provide field engineering oversight for civil and structural construction activities • Inspect reinforced concrete work including foundations, silos, and retaining structures • Coordinate contractor activities and verify compliance with engineering drawings • Conduct QA/QC inspections for concrete, rebar, and structural installations • Support project teams with field reports, documentation, and technical issue resolution What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • 5–10 years of experience in industrial or heavy civil construction • Experience with slip-form concrete construction, reinforced concrete structures, industrial foundations and heavy civil construction methods. • Background in contractor supervision and construction QA/QC inspections • Experience in industries such as cement, power, mining, steel, or petrochemical construction Additional Details • Travel required: approximately 60–80% to project sites • Experience with slip-form concrete construction is strongly preferred • ACI or AASHTO field certifications are a plus • Competitive salary typically aligned with Engineering roles in heavy industry.
