[Remote] Cloud Engineer III - IntelliScript (Remote)

The Cloud Engineer III will lead the migration of on-premise infrastructure to AWS and support both existing data center operations and evolving cloud environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize solutions. Responsibilities • Lead and support the migration of on-premise infrastructure and applications to AWS • Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing on-premise systems, including virtualization, storage, networking, and firewalls • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and automation tools • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment and infrastructure changes • Ensure security best practices are applied to both on-premise and cloud environments • Collaborate with application teams, shared services, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for critical systems • Document processes, architectures, and configurations for both legacy and cloud environments Skills • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and/or cloud engineering roles • Hands-on experience with on-premise datacenter technologies: virtualization (Hyper-V preferred, but open to VMware), storage (SAN/NAS), networking (routing, switching), and firewalls • Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.) • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform • Experience with CI/CD tools • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, load balancing) • Familiarity with Windows administration in both on-premise and cloud environments • Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell) • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills • Continued education, certifications, and/or demonstrated commitment to growth through ongoing learning • AWS certifications • Experience in environments subject to HIPAA and/or PCI regulations • Professional experience with Scaled Agile concepts and principles Benefits • Medical, Dental and Vision – Coverage for employees, dependents, and domestic partners. • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Confidential support for personal and work-related challenges. • 401(k) Plan – Includes a company matching program and profit-sharing contributions. • Discretionary Bonus Program – Recognizing employee contributions. • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) – Pre-tax savings for dependent care, transportation, and eligible medical expenses. • Paid Time Off (PTO) – Begins accruing on the first day of work.
