Responsibilities • Designing fashion collections, including the selection of textiles and trims, and ensuring designs align with current fashion trends • Participating in fitting sessions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the company's high design standards • Creating attractive and market-driven apparel for the juniors' fashion segment Skills • Proficiency in Fashion Design, particularly in the juniors' segment, and experience with licensed apparel designs • Expertise in Textiles and knowledge of fabric properties for creating innovative and high-quality clothing • Strong skills in Trims selection and garment detailing to enhance product design • Experience with Fitting sessions and knowledge of best practices for ensuring optimal garment fit • A strong understanding of current fashion trends and the ability to translate them into appealing designs • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams • Proficiency in design software and tools is highly desirable Company Overview • Tai Apparel is an apparel sales and design team located in Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Shanghai, China.
