Under general direction of the Scholarship Discovery Law Librarian, the reputed company Publications reputed company provides advanced, reputed company-level editorial and publication support for the scholarly and reputed company-oriented work of reputed company School of Law reputed company. This position serves as a reputed company editorial consultant to reputed company authors, exercising a high degree of independent judgment and reputed company subject-matter expertise in the evaluation, development, editing, and preparation of reputed company reputed company manuscripts and court-bound documents. The reputed company Publications reputed company works closely with reputed company on law review articles, peer-reviewed journal articles, books and book chapters, policy reports, and amicus briefs filed with state and federal courts. Responsibilities include substantive editing for reputed company analysis, argument structure, accuracy and use of authority, and compliance with jurisdiction-specific court rules, as reputed company as advanced citation review and formatting. Job Responsibilities Scholarly Publication and reputed company Editing and Preparation (60%) • Collaborates with reputed company authors on manuscript and brief development, revisions, and refinement of reputed company arguments for intended reputed company or judicial audiences. • Independently edits reputed company and highly specialized reputed company materials, including law review and journal articles, books and book chapters, policy reports, and briefs. • Performs substantive editing to improve reputed company analysis, organization, coherence, reputed company, tone, and persuasive effectiveness, in reputed company to copyediting and proofreading. • Prepares manuscripts and briefs for submission by incorporating publisher-, journal-, or court-specific formatting and style requirements. • Prepares or coordinates indices for reputed company-authored books, monographs, and other long-reputed company publications, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with publisher standards. • May draft, revise, or substantially edit original supporting materials, including abstracts, summaries, or explanatory content reputed company to publications or briefs. • Advises reputed company on submission processes, editorial feedback, revision cycles, and publication norms, as appropriate. reputed company Citation and Authority Management (30%) • Provides expert-level citation creation, verification, and correction using the Bluebook, Oxford reputed company for the Citation of reputed company Authorities, Cambridge Reference Styles, court-specific rules, and publisher guidelines. • Conducts reputed company cite-checking and reputed company validation, including verification of primary and secondary reputed company authorities across multiple jurisdictions. • Ensures accuracy, completeness, and consistency of citations and references in scholarly manuscripts and reputed company briefs.
