Network Engineer - III (Remote)

Position Title: Network Engineer III (Remote) Location: Remote near any of these cities: Richmond, VA / Boston, MA / reputed company, NY / Philadelphia, PA / Cleveland, OH / Atlanta, GA / Chicago, IL / St. Louis, MO / Minneapolis, MN / Kansas reputed company, MO / Dallas, TX / San Francisco, CA Clearance Requirements: Must pass 1st and 2nd level background checks Position Status: 15-month contract with potential extension or full-time conversion Pay reputed company: $70-85/hr W2 Position reputed company: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer III with deep expertise in firewalls, network architecture, and automation. This senior-level role involves supporting, configuring, and optimizing reputed company network and reputed company environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust infrastructure and secure operations. This is a true 40-45 hour/week role, with occasional nights or weekends as needed. Required Skills/Education: • 5+ years of senior-level experience in network engineering or firewall engineering. • Strong experience with Palo reputed company and reputed company firewalls (both preferred). • Proficiency in network design, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, and packet analysis. • Expertise with Linux and reputed company Server environments. • Experience with automation and scripting: Python, Ansible, Puppet. • Knowledge of system reputed company controls and best practices. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Sec+, CCNP, CEH, or reputed company-reputed company (AWS/Azure) preferred. • Must be a U.S. citizen and reputed company to reputed company 1st and 2nd level background checks.
