Join us.rnrnJob DescriptionrnrnAECOM is looking to fill multiple full-timeu00a0Lane Managersu00a0to work on a 3-year contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) Program supporting FEMAu2019s four Consolidated Resource Centers (CRC). This work is 100% remote.rnrnYou must be FEMA PA Experienced to qualify for this role.rnrnProject Overview:u00a0FEMAu2019s PA Program provides supplemental funding to state and local governments and eligible private nonprofits, Indian tribal governments, and Alaska Native villages for disaster-related debris removal, emergency protective measures, and restoration of damaged infrastructure. AECOM will support these efforts by providing FEMA a wide range of technical and program management services to support four CRCs processing grant applications and validating/preparing damage description and dimensions, scopes of work, and bolthires estimates and conducting compliance reviews across multiple disasters.rnrnPosition Descriptionu00a0: The Lane Manager is a key contributor to the Public Assistance (PA) Program delivery model. They oversee consolidated resources using a standardized approach to PA grant application (project) development in all categories of work. Lane Managers need to have situational awareness of disaster and applicant profiles to forecast resource requirements and prepare for efficient work processing. Lane Managers are responsible for managing their assigned team, managing the quality and production rates of assigned projects, and communicating with multiple stakeholders. The Lane Manager must attend daily stand-up meetings and complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.rnrn The Lane Manager must have a working knowledge of the various projects that come into their lane (Completed or Standard), including current work distribution, workflow, and potential special considerations (i.e., Insurance, Mitigation, and Environmental Planning and Historic Preservation (EHP)). In addition, they should be knowledgeable in writing a projectu2019s Damage Description and Dimension (DDD), Scope of Work (SOW), and bolthires estimate.rnrn The Lane Manager will use FEMAu2019s Grants Manager system. FEMAu2019s Grants Manager system is used to assign and track actions throughout PA project development, and to collect all PA project-related information and documents, including the correspondence.rnrnWe are seeking individuals withrn rn t • rn rn t • Experience providing excellent customer service; Effective written and verbal communication skills; Attention to detailrn t • Strong observational, decision making, analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize and clearly present key disaster recovery issues and progress to resolutionrn t • Outstanding smartphone and computer skills u2013 this job is 100% computer-based and work is completed through a web-based application, so strong computer skills are required:rn t • Proficient with bolthires Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word), Adobe Acrobat, and bolthires Earth (file conversion and import/export ability required)rn rnrn rnMinimum Requirements:rnrn rn t • rn rn t • Bacheloru2019s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, Geotechnical) or related degree with 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalent experience or education.rn t • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust.rn t • FEMA PA and/or CRC experience is required for Lane Managers.rn rnrn rnPreferred Qualifications:rnrn rn t • rn rn t • Strong people and project management skills.
