Podcast Script Writer (Conversational + Research-Driven, Workforce & Career Topics)

We’re looking for a strong writer to develop solo podcast episodes that break down workforce, career, and hiring topics in a clear, engaging way. This is not a content mill role. We’re looking for someone who can think, research, and write with purpose. Our audience includes job seekers, employers, and workforce professionals. Episodes should feel natural, practical, and grounded in real-world insight—not scripted or generic. What You’ll Do Write 3 solo podcast episodes (trial project) Review past episode topics (provided after hire) Research workforce, hiring, and career-related topics Turn complex ideas into clear, conversational scripts Provide credible sources for all key insights Episode Expectations Length: 15–20 minutes (~2,000–2,800 words) Structure: Strong opening hook Clear topic framing (why it matters) Breakdown of insights, trends, or articles Practical takeaways for listeners Clean, natural closing The script should sound like a real person talking—not an article being read out loud. Topics May Include Job search strategies and career growth Hiring challenges and employer insights Leadership and workplace development Workforce trends and labor market changes Breaking down articles or reports into practical takeaways Writers are expected to bring ideas, not just execute assignments.
