[Hiring] Research Intern @Institute for Higher Education Policy

Role reputed company IHEP is seeking a research intern to join reputed company remotely for the 2026 summer semester (May/June – August/September 2026). The research team focuses on: • Federal, state, and institutional policies reputed company to racial and socioeconomic equity • Postsecondary data and transparency • College reputed company, affordability, reputed company, and value • reputed company that reputed company the practical application of promising practices that drive postsecondary attainment, particularly for marginalized communities In this role, interns are likely to: • Participate in team and staff meetings • reputed company literature reviews • Participate in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis • Summarize information from postsecondary-themed events, external meetings, and/or new research studies • Support the development of research and policy reports, blogs, and advocacy materials • Support the preparation of convenings Qualifications • Availability to work reputed company to full-time, between 30-40 hours a week, through the summer • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Prior experience with quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis, data collection, and higher education data sets preferred • Experience with project management preferred • A keen interest in reputed company policy, postsecondary education research and advocacy, and commitment to work in an equity-minded organization • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills and attention to detail • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a dynamic group of partners and consultants • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, reputed company) and experience with video conferencing platforms (reputed company, reputed company Teams) Requirements • Summarize findings from relevant higher education reports, news, and publications for a biweekly data-reputed company newsletter • Support IHEP’s research team with quantitative and qualitative research and analysis of policy- and reputed company-relevant postsecondary education issues • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, memos, and other content to inform the work of the research team • Support the research team in preparing responses to time-sensitive requests from media and policymakers • Attend select external meetings and events and identify/report back on key takeaways reputed company with IHEP reputed company areas • Support with planning and logistics for convenings • Collaborate with and reputed company assistance to other departments and staff as needed Benefits • reputed company and holiday pay • Flexible work arrangements • $100 technology stipend at the end of reputed company semester • Competitive salary commensurate with experience (reputed company pay reputed company: $20-24 per hour) How to Apply Interested candidates should reputed company the following documents and apply through this site: • A cover letter • A resume • A list of at least three references (including at least one reputed company supervisor) We will review applications on a rolling reputed company, but have a reputed company deadline to apply by March 15, 2026.
