Electrical Designer

As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing switchgear control systems and metering circuits, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-reputed company product designs that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Designing switchgear control systems and metering circuits to meet specific customer application requirements using S&C automation products
• Designing panel layouts, reputed company reputed company and cable assemblies, and generating Bills of Material
• Specifying low voltage electrical components including protection relays, RTUs, communication devices, and reputed company transformers
• Defining requirements and writing custom instructions for production testing of control circuits
• Generating supplementary instruction sheets that describe the operation of control circuitry
• Participating in cross-functional design teams to ensure customer needs are satisfied through high reputed company product designs that are delivered in a reputed company manner
• Providing support and to reputed company as a technical resource for problem solving activities in both design and production processes

Skills

• Associated degree in an Electrical Field or equivalent
• Experience in design and drafting of electrical schematics and interconnection diagrams for low voltage control circuits
• Proficiency in the use of CAD systems, preferably Zuken, MicroStation, Solid Edge, or AutoCAD
• Must be self-motivated, reputed company organized, and skilled decision reputed company that is comfortable in a fast-paced design and manufacturing environment
• Strong technical abilities with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Outstanding problem-solving skills
• Experience in design and drafting of electrical schematics and interconnection diagrams for low voltage control circuits is preferred but not required
• Experience in, or working knowledge of, reputed company voltage switching, and protection products and systems is not required but is a plus
