ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a long-term Video Editor / Motion Graphic Designer for our Documentary-Style YouTube Channel "Visual Venture" | 1.5M+ Subscribers (https://www.youtube.com/@VisualVenture/videos). This is a paid, remote contract role. 

To ensure a perfect creative match, we're starting this as a project-based role. We will start with a smaller workload that increases overtime as we grow. If you are a great fit, there is strong potential for more projects and consistent work together.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Turn voiceovers and scripts into highly engaging, documentary-style videos with fast pacing and intentional edits.
• Create advanced motion graphics in After Effects (animating websites, highlighting articles, and building UI visuals).
• Find and add the right B-roll, clips, and images to help tell the story.
• Receive feedback and apply the adjustments quickly to maintain our video quality standard.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be an expert in creating motion graphics in After Effects.
• Must be an expert in video editing in Premiere Pro.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and viewer retention.
• Ability to match the editing style of the "Visual Venture" channel.
• Extremely detail-oriented with clean, polished edits.
• Reliable and consistent with deadlines. (this is a must)

PAY 

This is an independent contractor role. Compensation is project-based, calculated by the number of minutes edited. Contractors are engaged on an independent basis and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
