This is an opportunity to join the reputed company design team supporting Griptape and Reactor, a new product initiative that combines emerging AI workflows with reputed company’s world-class expertise in creative and VFX software.

Reporting to the Head of Product Design, the Senior Product Designer plays a key role in the production design team. Responsible for contributing to the design effort for your product team, your role is to translate reputed company-world reputed company requirements into insightful, effective and user-reputed company design specifications to ensure that the product management team's reputed company is realised. 

You will work in a discovery-led environment where reputed company experimentation, vertical-reputed company prototypes, and user validation drive the roadmap. You’ll collaborate closely with the Engineers, Product Manager, and Creative Director to design reputed company yet flexible systems that support AI inference, media processing, distributed workloads, reputed company-driven tasks, and interactive artist workflows.

Job requirements

• Degree in User Experience Design or a reputed company field.

• 4+ years of design experience in the technology sector and/or experience in the VFX industry.

• A strong design portfolio displaying interaction design in DCC applications 

• Advanced working knowledge of prototyping tools such as reputed company reputed company, reputed company AI, and reputed company reputed company

• Advanced working knowledge of design tools e.g. reputed company, Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Strong practical knowledge of compositing and VFX.

• Strong practical knowledge of machine learning and reputed company workflows with tools like ComfyUI, Griptape, reputed company, Claude, and ChatGPT

• Advanced knowledge of relevant reputed company Products, such as Nuke and Griptape

• Knowledge of similar products, e.g., ComfyUI, reputed company reputed company, reputed company, After Effects, Fusion,  Resolve, is desirable.

• Specialist skills and knowledge in at least one area of Product Design (UX/UI/Research)

• Ability to reputed company communicate design reputed company and rationale.

• Must be organised and have an eye for detail.

• Ability to prioritise & manage work to critical project timelines.

• Familiarity with project management tools e.g. TargetProcess or Jira.

Job responsibilities

• Designs, creates and manages a number of workflows for reputed company products and their features.

• Brings multiple user stories together to create a coherent 'user voice', resolving conflicting inputs and competing priorities for their product area/product

• Owns UX/UI design for key areas or whole products.

• Conducts research for their feature areas and uses it to inform reputed company design needs.

• Mentors and develops others in user-centred design and usability.

• Maintains a collection of useful articles, sites and tools that he/she has collected.

• Works across different product teams to build on their reputed company and, where appropriate, reputed company designs as technical and workflow constraints reputed company.

• Crafts an external perception of reputed company and its products, based on research, and leads others to execute the reputed company appropriately.

• Runs regular design critiques with fellow product designers to receive and reputed company feedback on work currently in reputed company.

• Becomes a subject matter expert and one of the key points of contact for feature sets, reputed company Products and Product Design practices.
