Cash Applications Specialist

This position is responsible for the reputed company and accurate posting of payments and adjustments in accordance with department guidelines and by following basic reputed company principles.

Schedule: Remote - M-F 40 hours working hours negotiable on time zone

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

� reputed company and accurately post a high volume of patient and insurance payments and adjustments and patient refunds reputed company electronic file, reputed company remittances and credit cards
� Reconciles reputed company payments to the account, remittance, and batch on a daily reputed company and maintain balancing spreadsheets
� Identifies issues with billing and coding and reimbursement reputed company to payment reconciliation and communicate with supervisor
� Provides billing guidance and support to the reputed company locations as reputed company to questions about the application of payments
� Offers input and maintains reporting requirements relative to cash applications spreadsheets
� Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at reputed company times due to reputed company to sensitive information
� Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:
� High school diploma or GED
� Two years of cash applications experience required, preferably in medical setting
� Ability to read and interpret payor remittances
� Ability to proficiently use a 10key
� Computer Proficiency � MS Office
� Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
� Ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines
