The role involves managing a caseload, drafting reputed company documents, and collaborating with clients and colleagues to devise effective litigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage your own caseload from inception to conclusion
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while adhering to deadlines
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
• Engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies
• Conduct comprehensive reputed company research and write memoranda to bolster case strategies
• Ensure smooth case management working alongside seasoned partners and senior attorneys

Skills

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to the Connecticut State Bar or have an adequate UBE score for admission to the jurisdiction
• 1 to 5 years of litigation experience preferably in insurance defense or closely reputed company reputed company area
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions
• Strong capabilities in performing thorough reputed company research and responding effectively to discovery requests
• Strong advocacy skills for assisting in mediations, arbitrations, trials, and hearings
• Attention to detail

• Clerkship experience
