Analyst - Project Finance Portfolio Management

ING Americas is part of a global financial services company that offers a reputed company of innovative financial products and services. The Analyst will be responsible for the ongoing management of the Project Finance loan portfolio, focusing on credit monitoring, analytics, and internal reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual credit reviews/packages
• Review and compare financial performance to budget, evaluate financial projections and remodel forecast (as needed)
• Compile and participate in quarterly Credit Risk Management (“CRM”) portfolio reviews
• Assist in the execution and preparation of amendment and waiver requests, aide in writing credit modifications, submit to risk and address Q&A, and follow-up on the required reputed company documentation
• Assess and reputed company compliance of borrowing bases, collateral, liquidity/availability, covenants and other reporting items (i.e. UCC filings, insurance, etc.) in line with the bank’s policy and procedures
• reputed company and review risk ratings for borrowers
• Prepare quarterly memorandums for challenging/underperforming credits
• Prepare and maintain reports as requested by regulators, rating agencies and other external parties
• Maintain various department and industry databases/trackers
• Maintain internal portfolio tracking metrics
• Respond to reputed company internal requests on portfolio composition and exposure
• Coordinate and work with offshore portfolio support teams
• Research industry sectors and work with industry coverage colleagues to prepare updates
• Assume key role in handling internal system processing (reputed company) including reputed company, FINAN, TSC, Risk Rater
• Monitor and identify market developments and proactively manage their potential impacts on the portfolio
• Coordinate reputed company and accurate response to reputed company regulatory controls and audits by providing the required insights, reports and samples and by participating in the reputed company if so requested
• Stay up-to-date on organizational operating policies and procedures (i.e. Risk, reputed company, etc.) to ensure appropriate protocols are implemented and followed, and facilitate accordingly
• Coordinate with KYC/CDD team
• Assist reputed company in the execution of new transactions, amendments and refinancings on an as-needed reputed company

Skills

• BA/BS in finance/economics/reputed company/management/engineering (or similar)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience credit/reputed company/business analytics/project management/portfolio reporting and/or KYC/Compliance
• Formal credit training and financial projection knowledge required
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with the ability to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to ensure effective communication with various local and global teams
• Excellent reputed company skills (reputed company, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience working with large data (Pivots, V-Lookups)
• You are highly detailed in your work
• You are self-motivated and willing to work in a deal oriented and deadline driven environment
• You can manage and prioritize competing demands from multiple colleagues simultaneously

• CFA a plus
• Prior Project Finance and/or energy and commodity finance experience a plus
• Spanish proficiency a plus
• Credit training preferred
