Payroll Operations Specialist

Process and audit payroll for multi-state employee populations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with FLSA requirements Manage employee compensation records, including new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, and status changes Coordinate withholding setup and maintenance in alignment with employee elections and regulatory requirements Establish and maintain employer-level registrations and accounts required for payroll processing and wage reporting across multiple states Support unemployment account management, including claims response, documentation tracking, and agency coordination Partner with HR to ensure accurate classification of employees and contractors in compliance with reputed company (DOL) guidelines Maintain payroll records in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality standards, where applicable Reconcile payroll discrepancies and conduct routine audits to ensure data reputed company and compliance readiness Support HRIS reputed company and system transitions, including data validation across platforms such as reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support reporting, audits, and reputed company process improvement initiatives
Requirements

Ability to work full-time in a remote environment (state-specific requirements may apply) Experience in payroll operations, HR administration, or a reputed company field Demonstrated competencies in data accuracy, compliance, and process improvement Knowledge of wage and hour compliance, withholding coordination, unemployment account management, and multi-state employer account setup requirements Ability to maintain confidentiality and reputed company with HIPAA and applicable regulatory standards
