The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering currently has 45 reputed company members and an enrollment of about 1300 undergraduate and 270 graduate reputed company. The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering in the College of Engineering and reputed company Science at the reputed company invites applications to fill up to two full-time tenure-reputed company reputed company positions in the Mechanical Engineering Program.
Candidates in two broad areas in mechanical engineering will be considered: (1) Mechanics - including, but not limited to, computational mechanics, theoretical and reputed company mechanics, modeling of materials behaviors such as reputed company, fatigue, and plasticity, biomechanics, mechanics of soft systems, and machine learning and other data-driven approaches. (2) Energy & Sustainability - including, but not limited to, renewable energy, energy-water reputed company, energy conversion and storage, battery materials and processes, carbon capture, hydrogen technology, fuel cells, and sustainable manufacturing. Rank, tenure, salary, and startup funding will be commensurate with credentials.
Essential Functions
Prior to the effective date of appointment, a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field is required.

- Teach graduate and undergraduate engineering courses specific to their specialty areas (as noted above).
