Temporary Billing Representative
reputed company is seeking a Temporary Billing Representative to support their Center for Health Sciences. The role involves reviewing coding in the Electronic Medical Records system, billing for hospital charges, and ensuring accuracy in reputed company accounts.
Responsibilities
- Reviews coding in Electronic Medical Records system and post the charges
- Codes and bills for hospital charges
- Captures reputed company billing from reputed company clinics and hospitals
- Checks reputed company accounts for any duplicate charges
- Uses reputed company reputed company Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes, ICD-10 codes, and modifiers
- Attends seminars or webinars to stay reputed company with changes in billing
Skills
- High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- 1-2 years of medical billing background with 2 years of college or technical training
- In lieu of college or technical training, will accept 3 or more years coding and billing experience in a primary care or specialty facility
- CPC certification required
