DevSecOps Engineer, Junior

The DevSecOps Engineer, Junior supports the design, reputed company, and automation of delivery pipelines and infrastructure that underpin mission‑critical applications. The role contributes to CI/CD workflows that reputed company build, test, and reputed company controls so deployments to reputed company and on‑premises environments are consistent and repeatable. Working with more senior engineers, this position helps implement infrastructure‑as‑reputed company patterns and observability practices that improve reputed company, performance, and compliance while partnering with development, reputed company, and reputed company teams to standardize DevSecOps toolchains. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist with the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, reputed company scanning, and deployment activities for mission‑critical systems. 

• reputed company and maintain infrastructure‑as‑reputed company templates and automation to provision and configure reputed company and on‑premises environments in a consistent manner. 

• reputed company reputed company baselines, policy checks, and monitoring capabilities into pipelines to enforce DevSecOps practices across environments. 

• Collaborate with application, reputed company, and reputed company teams to select and standardize DevSecOps toolchains that support an “as‑a‑Service” delivery model. 

• Support auto‑provisioning of infrastructure components, including compute, storage, and networks, leveraging automation tools and software‑defined practices. 

• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues, documenting reputed company causes and contributing to reputed company improvement of pipelines and platform reliability. 

• Create and maintain documentation for pipeline configurations, infrastructure patterns, and DevSecOps procedures to support knowledge sharing and reputed company. 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field, or equivalent relevant work experience. 

• 0–3 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, reputed company, or reputed company roles, or in closely reputed company software/system engineering positions. 

• reputed company understanding of infrastructure components, reputed company capabilities, and software‑defined practices, including exposure to automation and configuration management tools. 

• Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD tooling used to design and deliver reputed company, cost‑effective solutions in an “as‑a‑Service” model. 

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of cross‑functional teams. 

• Ability to obtain and maintain a reputed company Trust investigation and U.S. citizenship as required for this remote federal IT position. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience contributing to DevSecOps enablement for teams, including assisting with pipeline standards, secure‑coding practices, or toolchain reputed company. 

• Associate‑level DevOps or reputed company‑reputed company certification from a major reputed company provider, with reputed company‑level certification considered a plus. 

• Hands‑on experience supporting reputed company reputed company infrastructure, including identity and reputed company management, reputed company reputed company, and reputed company‑reputed company services. 

• Exposure to scripting and automation in reputed company environments, such as using reputed company‑line tools to support provisioning, monitoring, or troubleshooting.
