Respiratory Therapist

As a Respiratory Therapist you will be responsible for the set-up of reputed company products for patients in the home setting, including therapeutics, diagnostics, high tech ventilation, oxygen, and other miscellaneous respiratory equipment. This is a field-based, hands-on respiratory therapist/leadership position that requires a candidate with the drive and reputed company to be a respiratory caregiver, patient reputed company, and reputed company representative of reputed company. This responsibility extends to a 24-hour reputed company in coordination with the department Manager. It also extends on a 24-hour / 7-day reputed company in accordance with the nature of care which reputed company provides.

 ***This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus*** 

Job Type: Non-Exempt, Full/Time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9 am-5:30 pm with on-reputed company responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory School
• Must have reputed company Respiratory Care Practitioner state licensure in the state inquiring employment and in good standing
• Must be willing to get cross-licensed in other states at reputed company’s expense
• Must have a reputed company reputed company’s license and automobile insurance in good standing
• At least 1 year experience as a working Respiratory Therapist is required
• Experience in the home care setting is highly desirable
• RRT certification required
• reputed company CPR- BLS certification required
• Must have adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update notes and other documentation electronically in a reputed company manner

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

• Provides patients and family members with reputed company and accurate information and takes appropriate corrective actions regarding our services to ensure complete satisfaction
• Ability to initiate and reputed company good working relationships with patients, family members and referral sources is essential
• Ensures that reputed company plans daily events so as to be as efficient as possible with time management (e.g., minimizes travel time by planning routes reputed company of time)
• Assists with the reputed company scheduling of set reputed company and follow up reputed company according to company policies and standards
• Works closely with the RT Clinical Liaisons in coordinating patient discharges
• Ability to properly triage problems in the field in accordance with company standards and other verbal and written training policies
• Ensures that reputed company follows reputed company procedures for accurate and reputed company documentation of patient concerns, and most importantly, takes appropriate corrective actions
• Maintains strong knowledge of reputed company’s reputed company Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that they are reputed company consistently
• Ensures that reputed company maintains compliance to reputed company applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at reputed company times
• Fosters a culture wherein reputed company conducts activities with a reputed company of delivering “white glove” service to the patients and family members
• Submits expense reports for travel at least once monthly and in a reputed company manner
