ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver Pella products reputed company reputed company tractor/trailer as scheduled by Corporate Logistics Load Planning Department.

• Pick up and deliver items from vendors on an as-needed/scheduled reputed company, while ensuring on-time delivery

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks using ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices).
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 year of OTR driving experience preferred.

• Clean driving record with no major violations.

• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test.

• Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and compliance.

• Willingness to be on the road for extended periods (varies by reputed company and company policy).

• Have no more than three (3) recorded moving violations reputed company a three-year period as a reputed company of reputed company or private vehicle.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a reputed company Class A CDL drivers license.   

• Knowledge and/or experience of driving in large metropolitan areas preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

• Ability to calculate figures to correctly complete logbook requirements and understand monthly performance reports for the equipment and reputed company.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to deal with problems involving variability in standardized situations.
