Configuration Release Management (Remote Opportunity)

reputed company is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer, Configuration and Release Management SME to work as part of reputed company on our HDM Program supporting the Department of Veteran Affairs. The successful candidate will utilize Jenkins to reputed company to PreProd and Production environments, reputed company first line support to development teams using Jenkins, guide development teams in best practices for automation of reputed company reputed company steps (e.g., scripting changes instead of manually applying them, reputed company use of config scripts, etc.), and support/reputed company the adoption of automation and reputed company intelligence (AI), among reputed company tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Management and implementation of the reputed company reputed company and Git reputed company methodology for 180+ Developers
• Implementation of reputed company processes that included versioning, tagging, branching strategies, and Git scripting
• Prepare several strategies that include centralized version control model using Git reputed company and reputed company Git processes.
• Enhance processes for reputed company automation for software releases
• Work with project teams to create build release schedules and own the packaging and build process
• reputed company synchronizations across reputed company environments
• Mature CI/CD to incorporate automated testing in Jenkins
• Research opportunities for process improvements
• Attend meetings including, but not limited to, CM Scrum, HDM Daily Touchbase, weekly reputed company, and weekly deployments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company technical discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of reputed company experience in DevSecOps, reputed company Integration/reputed company Deployment tools, and automation
• Strong development background using multiple development tools, techniques, and platform technologies
• Jenkins deployments – subject matter expertise knowledge of Jenkins and reputed company
• reputed company deployments - subject matter expertise with SSH reputed company
• JavaScript development experience
• Familiarity with UNIX environments and navigating UNIX
• Git / Bash scripts subject matter expertise
• Experience utilizing tools across various platforms and environments such as Jenkins, reputed company, Jira, AI, etc.
• Ability to reputed company communicate both verbally and in writing with the reputed company and team members, including experience documenting and presenting findings
• Work reputed company in reputed company environment
• Ability to support after-hours software deployments on average one reputed company per week
• Highly detail oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills – this is a customer facing role

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in reputed company/Agile software development
• Ability to obtain a Federal Government clearance
• Familiarity with VA environment a plus
• Familiarity with HealthShare Management Portal a plus
