THE WORK
This position supports the high tempo F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Operations & Sustainment Integrated Project Team (IPT). The successful candidate will work across multiple IPTs to plan and execute various phases of the program’s Logistics Capability Delivery (LCD) process. Specifically, this role will be working within the SE Fleet Management team to plan, execute and report the status of JSF SE deliveries required to stand up and sustain F-35 activities around the world. The position requires a strong familiarity of the F-35 SE product line, a working level understanding of LCD processes, and the ability to multitask to support SE delivery tempo.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders in the LCD process, including SE commodity managers, MRO/SCM, and RMS Shipping and Receiving teams to coordinate large and dynamic shipments of Support Equipment both domestically and internationally. The successful candidate should also have a working knowledge of Sustainment Data Products and government property management regulations. They will be required to collaborate with International Traffic and Trade Compliance teams, sustainment country managers, and program management to report the status of Support Equipment shipments.

The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of SE configuration management principles and SE sustainment concepts. Finally, the successful candidate will be able to work independently to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems related to delivering scarce Support Equipment hardware to activities around the world.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance
• Expert level proficiency in MS Excel
• Meticulous record keeping ability & time management skills
• Keen understanding of ALIS and specifically, CMMS
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Focused on results and able to work closely with others in collaborative environment
• Working knowledge of military aviation maintenance principles
• Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment

Desired skills

• Experience with Lightning II Support Equipment Management System (LSEMS)
• F-35 Support Equipment sustainment experience
• Ability to work jointly with the customer and teammates to identify solutions that meet both Government and Industry requirements

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. Premium Pay Statement
