Position Overview
The Creative Copywriter will report to the Creative Director and play a pivotal role in the ideation, storytelling, and copywriting for arenaflex's best-in-class advertising. We are looking for a versatile writer who can seamlessly transition between crafting long-form narratives and bringing stories or campaigns to life through succinct, high-impact email and advertising communications across multiple channels. This is essentially the decathlon of writing—a role that demands versatility, creativity, and excellence in every form of written communication.
What You'll Do
As a Creative Copywriter at arenaflex, you will be responsible for delivering quality, detail-oriented, and thrilling content—both long-form and short-form. Your work will appear across our website, email campaigns, social media platforms, print materials, and more. You'll be expected to brainstorm, concept, and present compelling stories and copy that support our marketing campaigns while maintaining our brand's distinctive voice.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, photographers, videographers, marketing managers, and brand strategists. A successful candidate in this role must be a team player—open to receiving feedback and ideas from various stakeholders while confidently advocating for creative excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling brand narratives: Create engaging, long-form stories that capture the essence of the arenaflex brand and connect with our audience on an emotional level.
- Write concise marketing copy: Craft headlines, taglines, product descriptions, email communications, and advertising copy that resonates across multiple touchpoints.
- Brainstorm and ideate: Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative campaign concepts and storytelling approaches.
- Work cross-functionally: Partner with designers, photographers, and video producers to produce cohesive, high-quality creative work.
- Manage multiple projects: Successfully juggle tight timelines and handle multiple writing assignments simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Represent the brand: Act as a brand ambassador in interviews, conversations with key stakeholders, and interactions with arenaflex ambassadors.
- Travel occasionally: This role may require occasional travel to capture stories, attend events, or collaborate with team members in person.

Your portfolio will showcase a diverse range of work, including:
- Editorial Content: In-depth features such as "Portraits of Courage," "Finding Your Own Path," "Making a Home in the Wild," and "Five Ways to See in the Dark"—stories that inspire and empower our audience.
- Campaign Work: Participation in major brand campaigns, including our signature color campaigns and seasonal launches that showcase the versatility and durability of arenaflex products.
- Product Copy: Writing compelling product descriptions that highlight features, benefits, and the unique value proposition of each arenaflex item.
- Email Marketing: Creating engaging newsletters and promotional emails that drive customer engagement and conversion.
- Social Media Content: Developing platform-specific content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other social channels.
What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an advertising agency or in-house creative position; experience with consumer product brands is strongly preferred.
- Storytelling Background: At least 3 years of experience in copywriting, storytelling, and narrative journalism, demonstrating the ability to craft compelling narratives across various formats.
- Portfolio: An impressive portfolio website showcasing a range of work, including long-form stories, short-form marketing copy, headlines, and multi-channel campaign materials.
- Written Communication Mastery: Demonstrated excellence in both short-form and long-form writing, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences and platforms.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to solve problems creatively, even when challenges are not fully defined, and to develop messaging strategies that align with brand objectives.
- Presentation Skills: The ability to present and pitch creative ideas confidently to internal stakeholders.
- Multitasking: Capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively manage competing deadlines.
