What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for handling a wide range of customer inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to inbound customer calls with enthusiasm and a solutions-oriented mindset, addressing inquiries of varying types and complexity
  • Actively listening to customers to understand their needs, using probing question skills to gather relevant information and provide personalized solutions
  • Leveraging your proven sales abilities to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a customer-first approach
  • Managing and overcoming objections related to subscriber cancellations and suspension requests, using persuasive techniques to assist in reducing customer churn
  • Providing comprehensive support across multiple channels, ensuring consistent and positive customer experiences
  • Documenting customer interactions accurately in our CRM system to maintain detailed records and enable follow-up support
  • Staying current with product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers
  • Participating in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills, learn new processes, and stay updated on industry best practices
  • Collaborating with team members and leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and share best practices
  • Representing arenaflex professionally in every interaction, building trust and loyalty with customers

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring the following skills and attributes to the table:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that enable you to connect with customers and convey information clearly
  • Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously while maintaining quality
  • A problem-solving mindset—you're driven by solving problems and meeting goals
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven experience in customer service and sales environments
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • An active listening approach with the ability to ask insightful probing questions
  • Proven track record for hitting sales targets and driving results
  • Enthusiastic personality with a positive attitude that shines through in every interaction

Preferred Attributes

While not required, the following attributes can help you excel in this role:

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer support environment
  • Understanding of subscription-based business models
  • Familiarity with CRM software and ticketing systems
  • Background in the vacation rental or hospitality industry
  • Bilingual capabilities (Spanish is a plus but not required)

Technical Requirements for Working from Home

To ensure you can perform at your best while working remotely, you'll need to meet the following technical requirements:

  • A quiet and distraction-free, secure place to work where you can focus on customer interactions without interruptions
  • Excellent Internet connectivity with internet access speeds of at least 2 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download (the faster, the better!)
  • A hard-wired Internet connection capable of continuously supporting outstanding call quality and high-speed response rates
  • In-house network setup—wireless and/or satellite Internet Service Providers are not compatible with our systems
  • A smartphone (iOS or Android), 4 years old or newer, in which you will be able and willing to download our company communication app

  • Competitive pay rate: $15.00 - $20.00/hr based on experience and performance

Work Schedule

  • 8-hour per day shift, 5 days per week
  • Flexible scheduling with shifts available anywhere from 6am to 12am PST
