Position Overview: Strategy & Analytics Consultant

As a Strategy & Analytics Consultant at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in helping our organization deliver on its purpose of connecting people to what's important in their lives. You will be responsible for conducting research and analysis that provides deep insights into our operations, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and developing strategies that improve performance across the organization.

This role requires a unique blend of analytical expertise, technical proficiency, and business acumen. You'll leverage data to solve complex business challenges, visualize cohesive strategies, and communicate your findings to senior leadership. Your work will directly impact how we operate, ensuring that we continue to provide the exceptional service our customers have come to expect from arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of industry trends, operational data, and market conditions to support the development of new strategies, policies, and procedures that drive business improvement.
• Data Management: Collaborate with various departments to understand, improve, and share available data tools and resources across the organization, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Technical Analytics: Leverage advanced analytics tools including SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, and Big Data concepts to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and respond to business requests.
• Insight Transformation: Transform raw data into easily understood, presentable, and actionable findings that inform strategic decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Model Development: Participate in the development and improvement of analytical models and forecasting strategies, including supporting their implementation across teams.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and thought leadership on analytics concepts and topics to teams throughout the organization.
• Optimization Analysis: Conduct assessments using optimization and other analytical tools to create and evaluate scenarios that provide insights into operational performance.
• Data Governance: Implement appropriate data management practices that comply with privacy standards and regulatory requirements.
• Executive Presentation: Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership, effectively communicating complex findings and recommendations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their needs and develop solutions that address business challenges.
• Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior team members on data analysis techniques, tools, and business concepts.
• Additional Duties: Perform other strategic duties as directed by leadership to support organizational objectives.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in business, analytics, mathematics, or related field preferred.
• Experience: Advanced level experience with specialized knowledge in network planning, airline operations, or similar operational environments.
• Data Analysis: Proven experience in data collection, applied analytics, business assessment, and presentation development.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Executive Presence: Demonstrated experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Visualization Tools: Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software.
• Data Manipulation: Proficiency with Alteryx or other data manipulation software.

• Operational Knowledge: Working knowledge of airline operations, including scheduling, fleet management, and route planning.
• Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including Oracle, Teradata, and PostgreSQL.
