As a technical writer, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality documentation that helps our clients understand, implement, and work with their GCP database systems. You'll work closely with our product management, design, and engineering teams to identify key client journeys and create data models that help clients navigate those journeys. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan, design, write, and publish technical documentation for a cloud database help including basic client journeys, concepts, and how-to guides for enterprise clients. * Work closely with product managers, design leads, UX analysts, and UI partners to identify key client journeys and create data models that help clients through those journeys. * Collaborate with the Cloud Data Experience team to continuously refine approaches to delivering a great client experience. * Work with functional partners to manage and prioritize the technical writing responsibility. * Guide and support other writers in the Cloud Data Experience team. * Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud database systems and adapt documentation to reflect those changes. **Essential Qualifications** * Four-year college education in Specialized Communications or equivalent relevant experience. * 2 years of experience with technical writing. * Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud platforms. * Experience in a senior role, creating technical documentation for a technical audience, preferably for enterprise cloud services. * Capability with HTML or markdown; experience in a Unix environment. * Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple tasks, and meet time constraints in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills and strong drive. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its various services. * Experience with cloud-based data modeling and data warehousing. * Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems. * Experience with content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools. * Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures. * Experience with data visualization tools and techniques. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. * Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
