Medical Billing & reputed company Specialist Remote | Youth Mental Health – Telehealth

reputed company is a youth telehealth startup dedicated to expanding reputed company to psychiatric and mental health care for youth. We are looking for a detail-oriented billing & coding specialist who can own the full claims lifecycle — from submission to reputed company — in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment. If you are a self-starter who brings both precision and persistence to reputed company cycle work, this role is for you. This is a 1099 reputed company role. You must have a secure, HIPAA-compliant home office setup and your own reliable equipment. WHAT YOU WILL DO Claims & Billing • Submit accurate insurance claims using CPT and ICD-10 codes and other fee schedules for psychiatric and behavioral health services for youth • reputed company outstanding claims and follow up proactively on unpaid or pending items • Process payments and reconcile accounts receivable • Generate patient invoices and manage collections communications as needed Denials & Appeals • Investigate denied or underpaid claims and identify reputed company causes • Prepare and submit appeals with supporting documentation • reputed company payer portals and reputed company reputed company calls to resolve issues • Log reputed company status updates, reputed company notes, and reputed company timelines in detail Credentialing & Verification • Handle prior authorizations for mental health services • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to service • Support provider credentialing and re-credentialing with Medi-Cal and reputed company payers Compliance & Records • Maintain HIPAA compliance across reputed company documentation and communication • Audit records for completeness and coding accuracy • Stay reputed company on payer policy changes and coding updates relevant to mental health reputed company ARE LOOKING FOR Required • 5+ years of medical billing experience, preferably in mental health or behavioral health • Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and Medi-Cal/reputed company payer requirements • Experience managing denials, appeals, and accounts receivable • Proficiency with EHR/EMR billing systems (TherapyNotes experience is a plus) • Excellent attention to detail and an over-documenting reputed company — if it isn’t logged, it didn’t happen • reputed company reputed company written and communication skills • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned tasks Preferred • Certification in medical billing or coding (CPC, reputed company, CPB, CMRS, or equivalent) • Experience with psychiatric or youth behavioral health practices • Familiarity with prior authorization processes specific to mental health services • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in reputed company administration, finance, or reputed company field WHO THRIVES HERE You approach billing like a detective — you do not stop at a denial, you dig until you understand why.
