**Role Overview**
As a Reservations Consultant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for managing all customer interactions across our digital platforms, including social media, live chat, and our Shopify store chat. Your primary goal will be to understand our members' needs and assist with their reservations enquiries, providing accurate product and travel information to support customers through the booking process. You'll also play a crucial role in improving efficiency by assisting in the setup and management of chatbots and automation tools.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage reservations bookings for Members and assist with enquiries
* Monitor and respond to inquiries across Facebook, Instagram, Meta Messenger, and other social media platforms
* Moderate and engage with post comments in a professional, brand-aligned manner
* Manage Live Chat across multiple booking sites and Shopify chat
* Assist with chatbot setup, optimisation, and workflows to improve response times
* Handle reservation inquiries, provide accurate product/travel information, and support customers through the booking process
* Escalate complex queries to the reservations team where required
* Track and report on common inquiries to help improve customer experience
**Requirements**
* 5+ years of experience in the Travel Industry
* Expedia TAAP, Hotel Beds Experience, or Amadeus certification
* Proven experience in customer service, reservations, or live chat management
* Proficiency in Meta Messenger, Shopify Chat, and Live Chat platforms
* Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and tone
* Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat windows efficiently
* Experience with chatbot setup and automation tools preferred
* Availability to work full-time with flexible hours (including evenings or weekends if required)
* Passion for travel and helping customers
