**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* Answering incoming calls from consumers, including the general public, prospective enrollees, and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf, in accordance with all performance standards, policy, and procedures, and protocols, including but not limited to the confidentiality and privacy policies.
* Responding effectively to all forms of inbound and outbound contacts.
* Tracking and documenting all inquiries using the applicable systems.
* Processing new applications for health care coverage via the telephone, including building tax household, household income, eligibility determinations, interpreting determinations made by the Marketplace, and enrollment into health plans.
* Transferring/referencing consumers to appropriate entities according to established guidelines.
* Processing life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods as requested.
* Facilitating the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.
* Facilitating translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures.
* Escalating calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed.
* Attending meetings and trainings as requested and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems.
**Minimum Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months- 2 years of experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
* Knowledge of health insurance and financial assistance programs.
* Bilingual or multilingual skills.
* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
