Software Engineer - Production Support - Hybrid

(CHNCT) is currently seeking a Software Engineer- Production Support to join reputed company! <b>This</b><b> is a full-time, hybrid position with a schedule that includes two on-site days per week at our Wallingford, CT office. </b></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>The Software Engineer- Production Support will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our reputed company applications ecosystem, including Azure reputed company services, .NET web applications, microservices, SQL databases, and reputed company applications.</li></ul><p><b>Tasks Performed: </b></p><ul><li>reputed company L2/L3 production support for .NET reputed company and .NET reputed company/5+ web applications; Respond to and resolve production incidents reputed company defined SLA timeframes</li><li>reputed company reputed company cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes</li><li>reputed company reputed company changes for reputed company technical issues</li><li>Troubleshoot Azure Function Apps.</li><li>Support Azure Logic Apps workflows, connectors, and integration scenarios</li><li>Manage and troubleshoot Azure Data reputed company (ADF) pipelines, including data reputed company and transformation activities</li><li>Investigate failures in Azure service integrations and resolve connectivity issues</li><li>Monitor and trouble shoot microservices</li><li>Investigate communication failures and API gateway issues</li><li>Support message queue systems (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) and event-driven architectures</li><li>Serve as primary reputed company of contact during production incidents and coordinate reputed company efforts</li><li>Document incidents, resolutions, and lessons learned in ticketing systems</li><li>Conduct post-incident reviews and contribute to reputed company improvement initiatives</li><li>Collaboration & Documentation</li><li>Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps to improve application stability</li><li>reputed company feedback to development teams on production readiness and operational concerns; and other duties as needed.</li></ul><p><b>Essential Functions: </b></p><ul><li>Essential functions of this role include: Application Support & Monitoring, Azure reputed company Services Support, Microservices Support, serve as primary contact for Incident Management, and Collaboration & Documentation</li><li>Working closely with development, QA, and DevOps to improve application stability, providing feedback to development teams on production readiness and operational concerns. </li></ul><p><b>Desired Education: </b>4 years post-secondary schooling</p><p><b>Desired Degree: </b>Bachelor's degree<b> </b></p><p><b>Desired Major:</b> Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field</p><p><b>Desired Job Experience: </b>5-7 years of reputed company experience including supporting Azure Function Apps, including triggers, bindings, and monitoring; hands-on experience working with reputed company Azure reputed company platform; production support experience with .NET applications; Azure Logic Apps, including workflow design, connectors, and troubleshooting; Azure Data reputed company (ADF), including pipeline monitoring, debugging, and data integration patterns. Extensive experience with C# and the .NET reputed company. Strong proficiency in SQL server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, and executing plan analysis. Understanding of microservices architecture patterns and RESTful reputed company. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Experience with monitoring and logging tools. Proficiency in PowerShell, reputed company, reputed company, RabbitMQ, and reputed company.</p><p><b>Other Qualifications</b>: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
