**Job Summary**
As a Customer Contact Center Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for students and borrowers seeking assistance with their student loans. You will provide exceptional customer service, answering frequent questions, processing applications, and resolving emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities**
* Take incoming calls, use chat, and complete outbound calls as necessary to assist customers with their student loan queries
* Utilize standard technology, such as a telephone, email, and web browser, to navigate to pre-scripted responses and provide basic general and claims-specific information
* Follow established policies and standard operating procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, and documentation of calls
* Assist callers with filling out their application and submitting it electronically to the plan provider for processing
* Complete basic call logs, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry
* Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, including attendance, compliance, and performance standards
**Schedule**
* Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm
* Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm
* Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm
* Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm
* Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm
**Preferred Skills**
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently
* Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
* Experience working with a personal computer and the Windows operating system
* Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
* Ability to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks
* Willingness to work holidays and overtime as required
**Requirements**
* Ability to navigate various systems and browsers
* Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills
* Knowledge of contact center technology
* Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel and Word
* Excellent command of the English language, effective use of grammar skills
* Excellent communication etiquette
* Great customer service skills, including personalization, competence, patience, politeness, and initiative-taking
