**Job Summary**
As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, answering a wide range of inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with colleagues to ensure that our members receive the highest level of service and support.
**Responsibilities**
* Answer incoming member and provider calls and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc.
* Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable to ensure seamless communication and data transfer.
* Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer experiences.
* Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.
* Work from home and prove to be self-sufficient, with the ability to commute to the office in Princeton, NJ when necessary.
**Required Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent GED.
* Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form.
* Strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional experiences.
* Ability to work from home and be self-sufficient.
* Must commute to the office in Princeton, NJ when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working remotely in a call center setting.
* Experience with Medicaid and Medicare.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
