**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Processing transactions, including registering sales, collecting cash, and dispensing change
* Maintaining accurate records, including patient and medication data, and processing voids, returns, and exchanges
* Assisting pharmacists with tasks, such as entering patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and checking for potential interactions
* Reporting medication errors to pharmacists and adhering to organization policies and procedures
* Handling calls that do not require individual attention from pharmacists, including those to doctors
* Processing manual cases for external program remedy services and performing other administrative tasks as assigned
* Supporting the pharmacy division with stock management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications
* Maintaining knowledge of organization resource security methods and recording claims for distribution center overages, deficiencies, and request errors
* Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances
* Building and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special designs, and completing resets and corrections as assigned
* Assisting with the division of food items and product placement as determined by strategies and methods
* Providing customer support in the photo area, including digital identification photo services, banner print, and creative machine services
* Taking on web pick-up responsibilities, including screening orders in Picture Care, handling requests, and delivering orders to clients as they arrive at the store
* Supporting outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store condition and appearance
* Adhering to all organization policies and procedures and maintaining respectful relationships with colleagues
* Completing special tasks and other assignments as assigned
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of store systems and hardware
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in a retail or healthcare environment
* Familiarity with Walgreens policies and procedures
* Strong numerical skills and ability to fill prescriptions accurately
* Proficiency in PC skills and knowledge of store stock control
* PTCB certification
