As a leading Au Pair agency with over 30 years of experience in the childcare industry, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Local Success Coach (LSC) to join our team on a part-time basis. This remote role will be instrumental in supporting Host Families and Au Pairs in the San Mateo, CA area, while contributing to our mission of inspiring personal growth and creating enjoyable experiences for both participants and the community.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Local Success Coach, you will play a vital role in fostering cultural exchange, child care, and child development within your community. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing essential information and guidance to families during the matching process, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for all parties involved.
* Clearly articulating regulations, policies, and program rules to Host Families and Au Pairs, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
* Conducting in-home family interviews and site visits to confirm understanding of program regulations, promoting a safe and supportive environment for all.
* Facilitating in-home orientations for new Au Pairs upon their arrival, helping them settle into their new roles and environments.
* Maintaining monthly communications with families and Au Pairs to ensure ongoing support and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
* Organizing and implementing in-person cultural events for Au Pairs in the local community, promoting cultural exchange and understanding.
* Collaborating with headquarters staff to support families and Au Pairs effectively, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all.
* Building and nurturing personal relationships with families and Au Pairs while ensuring high-quality communication, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
* Executing marketing initiatives as directed by headquarters, promoting our services and programs to potential clients and partners.
* Addressing crisis and conflict situations promptly and professionally, assisting families and Au Pairs with resolution and ensuring a positive outcome for all parties involved.
**Required Skills**

* Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.

* Proficiency in utilizing technology, including access to a home computer/laptop and the internet, to effectively communicate and manage your responsibilities.

**Qualifications**
While not mandatory, previous experience in child care or cultural exchange programs is preferred, as is a strong background in interpersonal and counseling skills. You will also need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred but not required.
* The ability to work independently and manage time effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
* Strong interpersonal and counseling skills, enabling you to build trust and confidence with families and Au Pairs.

**Compensation And Benefits**
As an independent contractor, you will enjoy the flexibility of creating your own schedule while making a significant impact in the lives of families and young adults globally. Compensation is tiered based on the number of active families within your service area:
* For 3 active families: Approximately 1.4 hours per week; estimated yearly compensation: up to $4,500.
* For 11 active families: Approximately 3.0 hours per week; estimated yearly compensation: $9,300.
Payments will be made monthly for the deliverables submitted for the prior month, providing you with a stable and predictable income stream.
**Employment Type**
This is a part-time remote opportunity, requiring approximately 1.4-3.0 hours of work per week, depending on the number of active families within your service area.
