Our Omnicare pharmacies are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
**Day in the Life**
As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in leading and supporting our front-end pharmacy technician team. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:
* Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation
* Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions
* Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
* Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws

**Required Qualifications**
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
* One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* Prior experience in the long-term care industry
* PTCB National Certification
**Education**
A verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: $18.50
Maximum: $34.60
Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
