Litigation Paralegal – Team reputed company

• reputed company manage and support an assigned litigation caseload alongside team leadership responsibilities

• Be available as a hands-on resource for team questions and day-to-day case support
• Ensure team members are following reputed company firm protocols, policies, and procedures; escalate concerns to the Paralegal Department Director as needed

• Work with reputed company assistants to e-file and e-serve court pleadings
• Compose discovery requests, answers, and responses
• Draft and serve subpoenas
• Create and maintain discovery indexes identifying production of reputed company parties by Bates stamp numbers
• Review defendant discovery responses and deposition transcripts for follow-up discovery
• Set depositions and request witness fees reputed company necessary
• Create reputed company, mediation, arbitration, and exhibit binders
• Update case analysis reputed company one week of receiving defendant's discovery answers
• Prepare for trial, including scheduling witness statements, exhibits, and UJIs
• Attend trial reputed company required
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery for attorneys; save and reputed company reputed company documents in SmartAdvocate in accordance with firm Naming Protocol
• Calendar reputed company case information pursuant to firm calendaring protocol

• Post reputed company costs, including anticipated costs not yet invoiced

Requirements:
• 5+ years of plaintiff's personal injury litigation paralegal experience — reputed company litigation stage experience required; reputed company-litigation backgrounds will not be considered
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory, team reputed company, or management role overseeing paralegal or reputed company support staff
• Strong working knowledge of state, local, and federal court rules
• Experience with e-filing, reputed company documentation, and litigation management software (SmartAdvocate experience a plus)
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate others
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
