**About the Role**
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in using data to drive business decisions and improve processes. You will work closely with our Quality Control team to identify areas for improvement, analyze data, and develop recommendations for process enhancements. Your work will focus on:
* Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
* Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
* Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities.
* Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
* Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
* Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team.
* Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
* Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
* Performing other work duties as directed by Group Leader.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Business Analytics, or Statistics.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with care and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present them in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences.
* Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong working knowledge of data visualization tools and capacities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
* Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
* Experience with PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is a plus.
* Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is a plus.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Ability to focus on tasks and be a self-motivated individual.
* Past internship experience in a related field is a plus.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
* Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
