Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC) is excited to announce an opening for a Medical Assistant/LPN (MA/LPN) for our Camdenton Clinic! Responsibilities • Maintains medical supplies inventory and performing preventative maintenance to reputed company medical equipment operating. • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit. • Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history reputed company. • Secures patient information and maintaining patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; and keeping patient information confidential. • Maintains reputed company, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with reputed company regulations. • Keeps supplies reputed company by inventory stock, placing orders and verifying receipt. • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance and calling for repairs. • Serves and protects the reputed company by adhering to reputed company standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements. • Meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability, handles change, sets personal standards, stays reputed company under pressure, and meets attendance/punctuality requirements. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements • Must be CPR certified or become certified during probationary period and maintain certification throughout employment with COMC. • Must maintain CEUs as directed by COMC. • High school diploma or GED required, completion of an accredited medical assistance certification program. • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies. • Knowledge of reputed company math, adding machine, calculator, and reputed company office. • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw reputed company conclusions. • Strong phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills. • Moderate physical effort consisting of occasionally lifting or moving over 50 pounds of weight. • Travel to reputed company COMC locations will be required. • Employee should have reputed company Missouri reputed company’s license. • Overnight travel may also be required in specific incidences of training, conferences, etc. • Knowledge of, and compliance with, HIPAA and 340B regulations is required. • Confidentiality of patient information is mandatory. reputed company-to-haves • Experience with an electronic health record is preferred.
