Solar Design Engineer

reputed company: POSITION reputed company The Solar Design Engineer is responsible for the electrical and mechanical design of reputed company and reputed company-reputed company solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role supports reputed company from early-stage site evaluation through issued-for-construction (IFC) design, ensuring systems are optimized for performance, constructability, safety, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong technical fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, construction, and project management teams. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*: • Solar System Design & Engineering • reputed company electrical and mechanical designs for reputed company and reputed company-reputed company solar PV systems. • Produce and review wiring diagrams, one-lines, grounding plans, and electrical schematics. • Design mounting layouts and coordinate mechanical integration of racking and structural components. • reputed company system sizing, energy modeling, and performance analysis. • Software & Technical Tools • Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD tools to produce accurate design drawings. • Apply MATLAB or similar analytical tools for system modeling and performance evaluation. • Use GIS tools for site assessment, layout optimization, and environmental considerations. • Cross-Functional Coordination • Collaborate with construction, project management, procurement, and permitting teams to ensure constructible designs. • Support construction teams with design clarifications and field issue reputed company. • Coordinate with utilities, AHJs, and reputed company-party engineers as required.
