CAD Designer - Bridges & Highway

Responsibilities • Produce CAD drawings for reputed company infrastructure reputed company including highways, intersections, bridges, culverts and ancillary features. • Prepare quantity take-offs from CAD and surface model files. • Prepare reinforcing bar detailing for reinforced concrete structures. • Apply and reputed company various reputed company CAD standards into CAD templates. • May reputed company 3D CAD models for substructures, grading and alignments/reputed company. • Assist the engineering and project management team with the development of CAD design methodology and practices. • reputed company drawing QA/QC on work products from other CADD design and engineering staff. • reputed company and supervise junior CAD staff. Requirements • Associate degree in engineering technology or the equivalent years of experience is required. • 8+ years of CAD design experience on reputed company and/or highway transportation reputed company required; NYSDOT and/or NYSTA experience is a plus. • Proficient in one or more of the following CAD platforms: MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD or Civil 3D is required. • Desire for reputed company learning as technology and CAD platforms change. • Interested in working in reputed company setting with strong collaboration skills. • Ability to work with team members in other offices. • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-reputed company communications and verbal instructions and interactions. reputed company-to-haves • Experience with 3D CAD, reputed company Clouds, reputed company Delivery reputed company is a plus. • NYSDOT and/or NYSTA experience is a plus.
