Role Description Blackbird Health is looking for a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team remotely in Virginia. Why You’ll Love This Role • A predictable base salary with the ability to earn more by taking on additional clients • Part-time W-2 employment with full benefits — healthcare, 401(k) and generous paid time off • A remote model with flexible scheduling that fits your life • A collaborative, mission-driven team that supports your growth • The chance to make a real difference for children, adolescents, and families through integrated care Employment Options Available • Part-time positions for independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LPC, and LMFT). • W-2 Employee - Part-Time (20 hours/week) Commitment • 20 hours per week total: 17 hours of direct therapy per week & 3 administrative hours Schedule • Flexible within business needs, emphasizing after 4pm weekdays and weekends Work Model • Remote Compensation & Benefits • Total Earning Potential: Up to $70,000+ annually • Base Salary: $45,000 for a part-time schedule (20 hours/week) • Guaranteed income with predictable scheduling • 17 clinical hours + 3 administrative hours per week • Earn $70 per clinical session for additional clients beyond your base caseload • Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with employer match • Generous paid time off plus 11 company holidays • Ongoing clinical support and professional development Qualifications • Experienced clinician with a passion for working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families using evidence-based practices • Skilled in facilitating both in-person and virtual telehealth sessions with strong technical proficiency (Google Suite, EMR systems, virtual platforms) • Excited to make an impact and driven by patient outcomes • Proactive problem-solver with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication and documentation abilities • Dedicated to high-touch, comprehensive care, not just clinical sessions, but true partnership with families and caregivers • Collaborative team player who values clinical consultation, feedback, and professional growth How you'll make an impact • Provide individual evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 2-26), building strong therapeutic relationships through consistent, high-quality care • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress • Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients • Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support • Collaborate with other specialty providers • Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and patient records • Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate Requirements • Independently licensed as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Virginia • Possess one (1) year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients • Have one (1) year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting • Own your own phone, computer, and high-speed internet (if applicable as a 1099 contractor) • Flexibility to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 4pm ET during the week and/or weekends Why Blackbird is unique • Immediate patient referrals with guaranteed caseload - start seeing patients right away • Flexible scheduling within business needs - set your own hours with emphasis on after-school and weekend availability • Full administrative support - we handle credentialing, billing, insurance, and EMR so you can focus on clinical care • Paid weekly clinical consultation - ongoing support and skill development built into your schedule • Professional Liability Insurance • Career growth opportunities with increasing responsibilities and leadership pathways as you grow with us Fostering an inclusive environment Blackbird is committed to cultivating and preserving a culture of inclusion and belonging.
