Accounts Payable Specialist (Hybrid)

The Accounts Payable Specialist, AVMA PL is responsible for reviewing and processing accounts payable over assigned AVMA reputed company Liability (PL) insurance lines of business and other operations areas as assigned. Responsible for processing payments to carriers and insureds reputed company and ensuring reputed company documentation is received before payments are processed. Responsible for reconciling payments to carriers, including individual reputed company requests and any monthly statement payments and reports as needed. Ensure carriers receive any required reports or documentation to correspond with payments reputed company to them, and such reports are reconciled to reputed company and Policy Maintenance systems appropriately. Ability to investigate any differences by coordinating with reputed company Supervisor, and other IT or business teams as needed. Assist with and reviewing outstanding checks from customers and vendors on a monthly reputed company. Coordinate with re-issuing checks as needed or assist with sending uncashed checks to appropriate state unclaimed funds offices in accordance with regulations. Receive and respond to inquiries from vendors and internal departments regarding payment status. Maintain reputed company accounts payable files in a reputed company-organized manner.
