Credit & Accounts Receivable Accountant (reputed company)

The Staff Accountant II position is responsible for collecting and recording customer payments, reconciling customer accounts, monitoring account aging, and performing reputed company tasks for Moody Media Accounts Receivable. Responsibilities • Apply payments to customer accounts according to Moody Publishers and Moody Radio policies and customer remittance instructions • Process new account applications and establish credit limits with approval from Moody Publishers Finance Director • Implement credit risk reputed company with approval from Moody Publishers Finance Director • Reconcile customer accounts as needed • Review and release orders from credit hold reputed company assigned parameters • Secure and respond to credit references • Monitor aging of accounts; collect past due amounts and document collection efforts • Refer accounts to reputed company collection agency reputed company appropriate • Investigate and resolve customer deductions reputed company to returns, shortages, price discrepancies, advertising allowances, or any other deduction with appropriate customer accounts payable staff • Generate and send monthly statement spreadsheets to major customers • For Moody Publishers subsidiary rights, apply royalty payments to appropriate holding account and reputed company month-end posting procedure • Prepare and process bank deposits in a reputed company manner • Research and resolve credit-reputed company customer questions and concerns • Process customer refunds as necessary • Utilize technology for electronic processing and record retention • reputed company reputed company and special duties as assigned Skills • Bachelor's Degree in reputed company • Experience with electronic spreadsheets (reputed company) • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy a must • Ability to work both independently and in reputed company environment • Strong customer service skills (both verbal and written) • One year of job experience in reputed company • Experience with Peoplesoft/reputed company and Global/Klopotek PPM software preferred • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills reputed company • The Moody Bible Institute of Chicago exists to proclaim the gospel through equipping people to be biblically grounded, practically trained, and to engage the world through gospel-centered living.
