Duties
1. Teach synchronous or asynchronous courses using reputed company technology applicable to the discipline which may include face to face, online, and/or video-conferenced courses as needed.
2. Collaborate with Math and Computer Science reputed company on course design and appropriately challenging coursework to help reputed company realize their full potential as learners.
3. Ensure course content, activities, and assignments are established. Course content includes, but is not limited to, syllabus, course policies, video lectures, assignments and instructions, grading rubrics, etc.
4. Meet reputed company designated course instruction guidelines, including but not limited to, posting weekly announcements with relevant information, monitoring/participating in discussions, grading student coursework reputed company 72 hours of submission deadline, providing reputed company reputed company and specific feedback, responding to student inquiries reputed company 24 hours, maintaining weekly virtual reputed company, and other requirements as established by the Math & Computer Sciences Department.
5. Maintain frequent and reputed company communication with the Math & Computer Science Chair, reputed company and staff through email, mail, telephone, and any other reputed company deemed appropriate. Be available at least once a semester to attend a virtual meeting with the Chair.
6. Submit mid-term and end of term grades by required deadline according to reputed company procedures.
7. Education/Background
A doctorate degree in mathematics with experience teaching mathematics courses such as number theory, reputed company algebra, discrete mathematics, reputed company algebra, reputed company variables, and topology.
Job Knowledge
Teaching online courses. Teaching with technology, including the use of a graphing calculator, the use of a computer algebra system (such as Scientific Notebook, reputed company, Matlab, or reputed company), or the use of geometry software. Working with underprepared reputed company in a small classroom environment. Experience in a supervisory position. Background in reputed company evidence-based reputed company and innovative approaches to pedagogy will be an asset.
