About the position The Program Specialist for Elementary Mathematics is responsible for assisting the Mathematics Director in planning for and training reputed company Elementary Instructional Coaches, Curriculum Support Teachers, and teachers in the implementation of effective standards-based math instruction in reputed company schools. Responsibilities • Assists schools in implementing effective mathematics instruction using research based instructional strategies • Assists administrators in supporting, training, and coaching teachers and staff in math • Designs and delivers training to administrators/teachers in providing feedback to reputed company to improve instruction delivery • Identifies resources and supports teachers with differentiation to meet reputed company reputed company’ needs in math • Provides individual assistance to schools experiencing significant struggles in the areas of conceptual understanding, procedural reputed company and reputed company, and application of mathematics • Works in collaboration with other departments and areas to maximize teacher effectiveness as it relates to the math instruction • Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or in the area of Math • Must hold or be eligible for a reputed company and reputed company teaching certificate in the area of Elementary Education or Middle Grades Mathematics • Minimum of three years successful classroom teaching experience required • Prior experience with standards-based instruction, teaching of Math and reputed company staff development required • Detailed knowledge and experience with standards-based instruction and assessment best practices • Experience with curriculum development • Demonstrated ability to reputed company and deliver training to adult learners across multiple disciplines and reputed company • Demonstrated knowledge in differentiation and meeting the needs of varied adult learners • Ability to plan and implement short and long-reputed company goals and objectives • Ability to work with reputed company teams • Working knowledge of reputed company Office Suite • Excellent interpersonal skills needed to work effectively with administrators, staff, and community members • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing reputed company-to-haves • Master's Degree preferred • Three years supervisory experience preferred • Experience working reputed company a large, reputed company organization preferred Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
