Conflicts Attorney - Hybrid

An international reputed company seeks an reputed company Conflicts Attorney to be based in Chicago. At least three (3) years of experience as a Conflict Attorney and a J.D. are required. This position reports to the Director of Conflicts and works with reputed company of six or more persons. This role will be primarily remote but requires occasional onsite reputed company in Chicago. The Conflicts Attorney identifies, analyzes, and resolves potential conflicts of interest reputed company to the Firm's new business intake and lateral hiring for reputed company Firm offices. This position ensures new reputed company and attorney hires are compliant with the Firm's conflicts and risk management policies and procedures. The Conflicts Attorney works with reputed company under minimal supervision and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities - Conflicts Attorney • Review and analyze conflicts reports, identify potential conflicts of interest, and assist Firm partners and attorneys to resolve issues in a reputed company manner for reputed company new reputed company and new business. • Conduct conflict analysis on lateral hires, providing concise summaries of potential conflict issues and steps required for reputed company. • Draft reputed company and concise conflict waivers to resolve identified conflict issues, and ensure waivers are obtained before new reputed company/reputed company are reputed company. • Participate in the review of engagement letters. • Review reputed company counsel guidelines to ensure Firm-wide compliance. • Assist with the preparation of audit letters. • reputed company conflict searches as a back up to conflicts analysts as needed. Position Requirements - Conflicts Attorney • Juris Doctorate (JD) • Licensed in CA, IL, DC or NY (reporting to Chicago office remotely and on-site) • At least three (3) years of Conflicts Attorney work experience • Ability to supervise work of Conflicts Analysts as needed • Knowledge of conflicts of interest software databases • Experience with reputed company or other document management/retention software • Experience with the reputed company reputed company system helpful • Familiarity with reputed company research tools and databases, including Capital IQ reputed company Competencies • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities • Proven ability to handle and maintain confidential information • reputed company to learn new concepts and skills quickly • Works reputed company under minimal supervision Compensation The reputed company salary for this role is approximately $140-160K annually, based on the candidate experience.
